Logan, Ohio, USA, is home to an annual washboard music festival celebrating the use of laundry equipment as musical instruments! David Dopp of Santaquin, Utah, USA, won a $300,000 Lamborghini sports car in November 2011, and within 6 hours of driving away with it- he crashed it! Oldie but a goodie! Hans Fledmeier of Rostock, Germany, received a tin of lard in 1948 from a US food aid program and finally decided to eat the 64-year-old contents in 2012!

There probably have been cases of people crashing as they drove off the showroom floor.Was the spelling DOPP correct?
