How recent of a vanish? (Mr. Li’s dentist must be flabbergasted.)

Not saying it’s aliens, but it’s aliens.

If it weren’t for the distance, I’d say that the Door To Hell is where Mr Li is relieving himself.

Door to Hell: So that’s where Emperor Cheney’s “undisclosed location” is! I always wondered…

Alpha Centauri Bb hasn’t vanished. It never existed and the “detection” of it was erroneous. Efforts to verify it’s existance failed, simply as that.

The Door to Hell is a natural gas fire that was set by geologists in 1971 to prevent gas escaping. The only reason it’s famous is because it was featured in a movie and has the name Gates or Door to Hell, thereby making it religious in nature. The Centralia, Pennsylvania coal mine fire has been burning since 1962, ten years longer. The Brennender Berg coal mine fire in Germany has been burning since 1688.The oldest coal seam fire known is the Mt. Wingen fire in Australia. Afire for at least 6,000 years.

The intermercurial planet Vulcan was observed transiting the sun in 1859. Some astronomers observed it over the next 40 years, sometimes it was there and sometimes not. It had been calculated to exist because of it’s influence on Mercury. A clerk in the Swiss patent office, one A. Einstein, published some equations that showed that the fluctuations of Mercury’s orbit was due to a rather large gravitational field nearby. This clerk had some minor successes as an inventor. At that time home refrigerator compressors were prone to spring leaks, sometimes killing all occupants of the house. Herr Einstein invented a compressor that wouldn’t leak and drew royalties from it for many years.

Indeed, much like Bilan, I sense that all three stories today are connected!

Bb is alive and well and is currently the prime minister of Israel. Actually, the planet did not vanish. It was incorrectly determined to be a planet in the first place. It was like when you see a reflection on a piece of glass.

Bb was demolished by the Vogons to make room for a new hyperspace bypass.

Obama is the best president we’ve had since Lincoln. Smartest and most caring. Too bad Republicans took a sharp right turn away from reality.
