Same thing for Mount Fuji. “Yama” means mountain in Japanese. Saying “Mount Fuji-yama” is in fact saying “Mount Mount Fuji”

All this reminds me of the late Dr. Shalaby. He had two PhD’s and his first name was also Shalaby and he once worked at Johnson & Johnson. So he was Dr. Dr. Shalaby Shalaby of Johnson & Johnson.
