I wonder what were the errors Pete made.

Never knew that about the Sahara.

Some people believe the Sahara was created when the sun veered off course and scorched the land.

I’ve heard people say Salsa Sauce. Sauce Sauce.

Along similar lines, Bolshoi Ballet actually means “Big Ballet”

Same thing for Mount Fuji. “Yama” means mountain in Japanese. Saying “Mount Fuji-yama” is in fact saying “Mount Mount Fuji”

And “chai tea” means “tea tea.”

La Brea means the tar so the La Brea Tar Pits, is “The The Tar Tar Pits”

All this reminds me of the late Dr. Shalaby. He had two PhD’s and his first name was also Shalaby and he once worked at Johnson & Johnson. So he was Dr. Dr. Shalaby Shalaby of Johnson & Johnson.

No Golden Glove for Pete. Probably not a Silver or a Bronze glove, either.

And in Arabic, it would be the Sahara Sahara.
