So Irina losing her voice led to the collapse of the Soviet Union?

If a brain were to feel pain, it would get the sensation in an instant?

Re: the bonus strip (I assume we all see the same one) – I see Edd China (his name is misspelled in the comic) is referenced, a few years before he became famous among gear heads as the expert mechanic on Velocity channel’s “Wheeler Dealers”…

Why would anybody build a castle underwater?

Come to think of it – I have one (in my aquarium).

The movie dubber one reminds me that I have often wondered how many Hong Kong Kung Fu movies were dubbed by that very recognizable voice crew…

I think that Wheeler Dealers was an established show in the UK that was picked up by the Velocity channel. Look at some of the older shows, they go back a ways. It is funny to see him with dark, short hair. Too bad he couldn’t stay with the show. I liked him better than the new guy. Look up his name on the internet and he explains why he had to leave the show.

In 1964, I was in Ankara, Turkey (US Army signal corps) and traveled around Turkey to Mt. Ararat and south to Van etc. I wondered at the time why divers hadn’t yet searched the Lake, it being at the crossroads of ancient migrations. (such as Xenophon And The March of the 10,000)
