Which is stranger, the fact that Texas started allowing hunting from a balloon, or that they previously passed a law specifically forbidding hunting from a balloon?
Considering that feral hogs have become a major problem not only in Texas, but across the southern half of the US, any manor to eradicate them would seem like a good way.
That bit about shooting feral pigs and coyotes reminds me of a signs that used to be posted on Interstate highways in Virginia — Speed enforced by aircraft. The first time I saw that sign, I thought to myself that flying squad cars would strafe speeders.
