They aren’t extinct; they’re off playing with the coelacanths.

I just checked; I am not an Orangutan. Some may disagree.

It’s orangutans’ long arms that make them especially good librarians.

Saw some dude get near an orangutan cage and get nabbed by it. He became involved in a tug of war between the ape and a guy trying to rescue him. Supposedly filming a documentary and got more than they expected, LOL!

Orangutans give the best hugs – when they’re not trying to kill you.

Pushing back is now referred to leaning in.

I suppose there are reasons why that is the best approach, rather than carve them up into chunks small enough to harvest as fertilizer (or whatever), or anchor them in place, or whatever.

Now I have to look up “Wisconsin Chippewa Flowage floating bog islands”.

Push the bog islands back where? Bog island storage? If the bogs keep coming back why not send them forward so the bogs leave and not return?

Some mind boggling fellow in the 1800’s, when steam power was all the rage but the train tracks were few still few and far between, harvested peat moss from the bogs of my home town, used steam to remove dirt and water and then pressed the “dried” material into light weight bricks to sell as a cheaper Coal alternative for steam engines along the canal until the bank that owned the canal used “imminent domain” to run the train rail through the middle of his operations cutting his access to the canal off and put them out of business.

…and every year those same Arnold Schwarzenegger floating islands say, “I’ll be bog…”

Orangutans? I thought that’s what the Apollo astronauts drank.

Relatable to nothing: We all know the “great” apes; but who are the “mediocre” apes? Discuss!
