How to profit off other people’s hard work. Sounds like a politician.

Well, some do some pretty “squirrelly” things.

Seems as if a good fence around the garden would be more useful than a rope…

You forgot the mice, ground hogs, and digging dogs.

I don’t know where they live, but here in NC, it’s still too early to plant anything. Even though we’re starting to get up in the 70’s some days, it shows we’ll get as low as 24 by the weekend. I notice that their weather is always exactly right for each season. They get snow, and plenty of it in the winter, but as soon as the calendar says spring, the flowers are blooming, the trees are fully leafed out and everything is green. Same with fall. Leaves turn the minute fall hits. Too bad the weather can’t be like that in real life.

Plant sugar snap peas directly in the ground, said the package. Last week I did. The squirrels immediately went digging. They missed one, you could see the tight U-shape emerging from the ground, no green to the leaves yet… Gone a few hours later. Yeah, so, that didn’t work.

Given that Rose gardens every year, why doesn’t she have a plot ready? Nicely mulched with last year’s leaves.
