Rose: It's always a treat listening to your fabulous melodies... But I did miss waking up to your songs at my window this morning!
Bird: I'm working from home today.
Count yourself lucky, Rose. I had a bunch of starlings that set up nestkeeping in the crawlspace above my (2nd story) bedroom. Because the baby birds hadn’t yet learned that they’re supposed to sleep away the hours of darkness, one would wake up at any random time of the day or night and start hollering, which would wake up all the rest and then they’d start hollering.
