I lost my Dad twice. First to Alzheimer’s. Then several years later he finally fell asleep. It was very tough to watch the body you knew, but without the mind that went with it, and still try and take care of him. But at least he is resting in peace now. The moral of the story is: Do what you can with your Dad while you can. For time doesn’t stop for anyone. Nor can you do any do-overs. Time marches on.
