I would not have food out like that as it will attract bugs.
I had started (leaving out details about how this came about – unless someone asks) a small Christmas village of bear figurines and small toys. Husband hated storing it all away every year and missed it.
So now it changed 11 times a year for which holidays, etc are occurring that month. (January is split between Christmas and February.)
Latest holiday addition is for May – I take a tiny easel (twin artist bears- salt and pepper shakers use them in the summer in the park) and set it up and put a tiny Christmas wreath on it – turned around so the red bow does not show, I then have soldier bears line up and the appropriate instrument playing bears line up “to play” taps. The “older” bear sit on benches and the younger ones on the “ground” or they politely stand for Memorial Day services.
(Yeah, adults with no children – we play with toys and don’t mind being a bit crazy.)

Most cats would knock that over and off the edge of the table or counter.
