I think it’s time to give up the Lucky Charms, even though they’re magically delicious.

Look at the holes in the front of the cylinder. If he hasn’t already pulled back the hammer you should be able to see if there’s a live round in the next chamber.
If he has already pulled back the hammer, you’re on your own.
