We owned a smallish siamese cat named Cece (see-see) who had her own (cat sized) door. Once, we put a full chicken, still in its tight plastic bag, on the counter to thaw, and went out for a couple of hours. On our return we found Cece and the chicken about half way from the counter to her door. She had punctured the bag in dozens (hundreds?) of places trying to get a grip, and was, when we walked in, trying to treat it like a kitten and carry it toward the door. It weighed at least as much as she did, and her struggles were hilarious.
Of course, being a cat, she needed neither forgiveness nor permission, and in fact tried to prevent us from retrieving the poor punctured bird.
