Actually, all the muscle cars of the 60’s are pretty anemic by today’s performance standards. They did kill you pretty efficiently tho…
And the suspension and steering were pretty awful too.

Don’t forget skinny bias ply tires, drum brakes, and no outside rear view mirrors (they were “options”).

At least the cars didn’t fold into themselves like they do now. Real bumpers really paid off most of the time.

I agreed with the person that said "if they put a big spike in the middle of the steering wheel, people would drive a lot more carefully to avoid a crash’
