Bobby! I've invented a robot, but it has no personality. No feelings. No soul. By spending time with you, it will learn your ways and become less robot and more human. Hello Bobby. So you have no feelings at all? Affirmative. So you wouldn't feel sad if you had no friends at school or if you didn't get what you want for Christmas or if your mom was too busy in her lab to spend time with you? Affirmative. Later... So did you learn anything about personality? Affirmative.
Fascinating… So, water vapor being a significant greenhouse gas, more of the infrared radiated by the earth would get through the atmosphere. Then, I suppose, a wideband IR detector on a weather satellite might interpret that increased radiation as an increase in ground temperature when it was actually energy leaving the earth (and therefore cooling)?I can appreciate that scenario… I have test instruments lie to me every day.
