Every time I post a comment in a volatile atmosphere on a topic with polarized viewpoints, I lose a percentage of my cognitive ability to ongoing defense of something stupid I said.
You fore-brain forms last and starts to shrink first. It doesn’t impair cognition, but it does stop functioning as a bulwark against you blabbing something you would never say before, it just comes out. When the grand parents become a liability when they start saying things you never heard out of them before.
