We all dreaded the annual company staff meeting about the fiscal year. Every year we would be shown a slide with a chart of current profits (not good) and projected profits (oh, so nice). In fact, I think they used the same slide with only the year changed. I left just before they were bought out by another company, which had apparently been impressed by that chart.
adjust a number here, and leave out a date there. Fudge just a smudge on the bottom line with a dash of inverted reverse and you too can make the stats or figures say whatever you wish them to say. The problem is when the reality of the visual physical, does not confirm the figures. js
