Factory mistakes and overruns and the inedibles from the rendering plant go to an animal feed blending plant here. The rendering plants have been complaining about them.
I once worked at a Tacoma trucking “company” (if you can call it that with a straight face) that was next door to a rendering plant. Actually glad I left.
