Owen presumably has the added stress of never sleeping, so he has these feelings 24/7.

At times, yes …..

Owen should be over his clinical depression since as a ghost he has no brain nor glands.

Too late; Gary has a case of Owenic Boredom and will remain in a coma for hours….
