My dad gave similar reminders from about the time I was 8, although he did “extend” it until after graduation. Having seen Skyler’s school results in previous strips, I don’t think he’ll get the same consideration though.
You will always be a kid in your parents eyes. No matter how old you are, to them, you’re still their little boy or girl who needs to be told to sit up straight or reminded to eat your vegetables.
