Yeah but try to find one when you’re done and want the bill – then they all disappear into the Witness Protection Program.

I have had a couple of restaurant tables that ended up in no-man’s land. Either it did not have a server assigned or they had just redrawn the lines on who had what tables and somebody did not get the memo. We have sat for five minutes before finally asking if we had a server or not and then finding out we did not, at least up until that moment.

Service and a talented bartender essential……

He needs a table that’s furthest away from food.

I like a window seat. That way I have something to look at while waiting for the waiter.

Ever notice that the only time the waiter/waitress asks if you need anything else is when you have a mouthful of food?

Shoe, you are forgetting the basic premise of restaurant dining: They are called waiters because they make you wait.

“Other than the food and service, it’s a great place…..”

That would seem optimal. lol

One place I went filled the coffee cup without asking, later guessed when I wanted about half a cup, and we never noticed the waiter doing it! I tipped over 30% and that was over 40 years ago (and I was very young and very broke). I only hope to be able to be that good at what I do.
