He must have used long words…..

Could have been worse. He could have taken 8 hours, so yes he is a man of few words

He used those few words over and over again.

Takes at least that long to make order from chaos.

Give him something to drink. The good senator can’t talk while his bill is in a mug of beer. And after a ‘few’ mugs the senator just plain can’t talk.

Typical politician plus he didn’t really say, anything

The Senator’s talking about what a good job his party is doing and what a lousy job the other party is doing. Be sure to bring a lunch.

Politicians and preachers don’t know the meaning of a few brief words.

A few words that mean anything, anyway.

I had to stop contacting one of my longtime friends. It had gotten to the point where she would spend fifteen minutes explaining why she was too busy to talk with me for five minutes. :) :(

He took the Fifth on everything…

Rather like introducing someone with “This person needs no introduction” and then talking about them anyway. Technically you shouldn’t even need to say their name if they’re that well known.

And everyone was so excited about Biden’s measly 2 hour conference.

He meant “A man of futile words…”

It sounds like one of those..“He talked a lot, but didn’t say anything.”
