I’ve mentioned this before, but I do wish they had a little more variation on the expressions. Shoe looks utterly horrified by the officer’s comment. How about a nice eye roll, instead? (Said this before, too: I miss Biz! It’s been a couple months, at least! Bring back Biz!)
I may have accidentally saved some young girls for starting a life of crime. I was a strange kid in high school. I wore ascots and a sports coat to school frequently, plus I must have looked older than my 17 years. One afternoon I was walking down a large central aisle in Sears when I notice two girls sort of furtively fingering some necklaces on a display. But when they saw me striding swiftly in their general direction, they dropped the jewelry and got out of there in a hurry. No telling if they had already stuffed some other merchandise in their purses before getting to that display.

I know this sounds funny but after 30 years in retail I have seen it all including this!

My SIL would buy a dress, wear it to a party (or where ever) and return it to the store for a refund.

Wow. I wonder how many shoplifters ever tried this before.
