Get down, Can’t get back up again.

You realize, of course, that toddlers do this regardless of how they are treated by their parents. They do this because they are not old enough to have learned any other way to express frustration. Of course, this comic has a pretty articulate kid who is therefore unlikely to be a toddler.

My brothers and I knew better than to try this one with Dad.

Fine. Stay there until you’re ready for…whatever it is. They never stayed down long, and they soon abandoned that tactic.

I would just ignore him and step over him like he was a dog or cat.

He reminds me of Regular-Sized Rudy from “Bob’s Burgers.”
