Sheesh Coverly, really? . . . so, let me explain this slowly so folks will get it — health care, like having a job, is not a “right”. It’s a responsibility and wholly up to the job hunter to ensure he/she has the right level and type of education and experience for the job they’re applying for. They should also have a healthy dose of clear communication skills and an awareness of professionalism that I see sadly lacking in the majority of today’s youth. Just because a slacker wants healthcare, like a lollipop they can suck on, doesn’t mean he/she automatically gets it. They have to earn it.
Just spent some time in New Zealand, coming back in the question was familiar, no contraband, but though they don’t have it all worked out perfectly, NZ is a lot closer to equitable health care than we.
