I was reading an article about a woman who was a copy writer who lost business to AIs. She can now get a job teaching AIs how to write copy.

I am experimenting with ChatGPT. It is an excellent research assistant. I tried to use it to give me an elevator speech and write a cover letter. It sounds like an AI or used car commercial.

It goes overboard on adjectives and buzz words, buries verbs and sometimes makes stuff up.

The only use it has is that it mostly covers all the topics and it gives a general format. I have to edit it extensively to sound like something I would say or write.

Oooh I’m sure it can try…..but no cigar!

The Mona Lisa hangs on a wall in the Louvre that makes it appear miniscule. It is a small-sized painting, but being a lone placement on a large wall provides quite a backdrop. Quite a contradictory placement for a painting that has had such a profound influence.

Reproducing something is one thing. Coming up with an original idea is quite another. AI may eventually get to that point, but will it truly be self-motivated?
