I think we all feel that way sometimes, Joan. When we were kids we wanted the privileges of being grown up but when we grow up we don’t want all the responsibilities of being grown up!
This has nothing to do with Leon. She’s saying that while she’s interested in Wally, her logical adult brain knows that this is not the best idea right now. Even though he’s dating Susan.
