My daughter has an Ansel Adams print. Her husband had taken some landscapes that she had printed in B/W,matted, framed and hung in an arrangement around the Adams’ print. I thought they were all Ansel Adams’ work…………..
This reminds me of a Murphy Brown episode where her house painter, Eldin, was putting on an exhibit of his art.
Details aren’t clear…but I think the paintings hadn’t been hung, so the guests all assumed it was the blank walls, or the light switch, or the ceiling…
This may all be a false memory.
I remember lots of stuff that never happened.
I remember a news story from a few years ago about how a janitor in an art museum had his cart, full of cleaning materials, and left it out while he went to get something and people thought it was an exhibit.

It might have tortured his soul, but exhibiting a blank canvas shows such a high degree of hubris that Zeus owes him a lightning bolt or two.

I dunno, Sheik, I vote he only gets zapped if he actually sells one as art.

The art is in the placement of the panels. The pieces are all one piece.

as they say, “….Art is in the “I’s” of the beholder…”

There are no “I’s” in “beholder” or in “team” for that matter.
