This has happened to me in the past when I had fifteen cats. One night there was eight on the bed, I got up to clean a litterbox, no room when I got back. Went to sleep on the sofa, woke up with three cats on me. Needed the loo, got back and there were now four cats on the settee. Bed was still full, so went to sleep on the floor. Woke up with a cat on my chest….

Absolutely correct! Mine actually don’t HOG the bed. One keeps my feet warm and the other visits at odd times and scares me awake when she hops up with a lout “TRILL….” in the middle of the night.

So, where are “the cats’ pajamas” I have heard about so often?

My cat sleeps on the bed next to me. If I fall sleep on the couch, he sleeps there. If I slept on the floor next to the bed, he’d be right there with me.
