In my small town we have Church bells that help with time telling :-)

Loved/hated it as a kid when the town’s curfew sounded at 9 PM in the Summer. You knew what time is was (kids didn’t wear watches 70 years ago). So you rushed home just as the street lights were coming on.

In the ’60s the rain started at 4:00, on the dot. By the time it stopped the mosquitos came out, so no more playing outside.

But there’s great news…..raindrops keep falling on our heads ….just for a while then the sun comes out, and dries up all the rain….
