    Loved/hated it as a kid when the town’s curfew sounded at 9 PM in the Summer. You knew what time is was (kids didn’t wear watches 70 years ago). So you rushed home just as the street lights were coming on.

    In the ’60s the rain started at 4:00, on the dot. By the time it stopped the mosquitos came out, so no more playing outside.
