I think it was Ray Bradbury that wrote the best chaos butterfly story. The time travelers leave a nice culture to go to the age of dinos. When they get there they have to stay on a path that is safe. One member gets scared and leaves the path and squishes an insect. When they come back, the culture is fascist. Curse you chaos butterfly!!
I’ve just finished reading Stephen King’s novel, 11-22-63. As Percival Dunwoody has learned, time travel, especially with the intent to change major events in history, is a very dangerous thing.
