We have a time share at Lake Tahoe, about 90 minutes away. I say that to make a point. I am retired, with a modest income. I drive a 15 year old SUV and all my electronics were purchased used. So why the time share? It’s a beautiful place to get away, relax, boat, swim. Plus, they share facilities world wide, so when we travel we get pretty incredible discounts. 300 bucks a week is a lot better than 300 a night! When the relatives visit, we can give them the option of staying here or at Tahoe. No contest. On a ‘funner’ note, by daughter gave me a gift certificate for a skydiving session at the lake! Can’t wait! My life book is, “Having fun on the cheap”. We don’t hobnob with the hoi polloi. But we do join them for margarita monday!
