I actually worked with serious surfers at an electronics company in Goleta, CA. It worked out better for everyone, if we just gave the surfers a couple of hours off when the big waves were in town. They would then work into the night, infused with the gnarly-ness of it all. :)

My cousin is a retired software engineer in Dayton who doesn’t surf and loves this comic.
