Let’s not forget that the Lake Erie Monsters—the AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets—won the Calder Cup this year as well.

Hey, the Cubs won and that’s not a slam on Cleveland. They still have LeBron and a good baseball team.

Cleveland is an excellent team, not disappointing at all.

Cleveland has nothing to be ashamed of.

With Terry Francona’s steady hand as manager ( remember he achieved the impossible and brought to Boston 2 World Series Championships ) Cleveland will be a contender again next year.

    .

In fact, the may have a chance at revenge by facing my Cubs, next year, for a rematch of the Series !

    .

There is NO HOPE for Browns fans !

Could the Brown possibly achieve fame, or infamy, ( take your pick ) by losing every single game this season ?

Yes, Theo Epstein was the brains behind the miracles in Boston and Chicago.

    .

.The Red Sox loss of both Epstein and Francona turned into big wins for Chicago and Cleveland, respectively.

    .

.Not just because I a fan, but I’ve really come to admire the acuity that Mr. Epstein brings to the game as a General Manager. .

I believe that major reason for his success, is that the owners stay out of his hair and let him run the Front Office, and in turn, he doesn’t try to micromanage, or intrude in the Manager’s coaching the team on the field..

As to the Ghost of Cleveland Disapointment, it’s STILL a TEAM thing, not a CITY thing!See: Boston, Washington, Chicago, KC, Philly, et al.A jinx is only exorcised when the jinxed TEAM wins.
