Might as well add a belching contest while we’re at it. College campuses and bars have plenty of worthy champions.

That sort of online competition already exists. There are web-connected bikes all over the globe offering a variety of virtual bike rides with the ability to be as competitive about it as you care to be.

I do, however, like the idea of Olympic cornhole.

Pandemic triathlon. Eat pizza, drink beer, take a nap.

Don’t give the IOC any ideas…they may actually take them up!

They might as well have arcade games as part of the events.

Stationary bikes don’t sound all that bad actually, assuming it gave accurate readings for speed and distance. Would certainly make it easier than laying out a long outdoor course.

I still haven’t come to grip with Ribbon Dancing, not real sure about this either.

At one time golf was an Olympic sport. What has always bothered my is that basketball, a winter sport, is played at the Summer Games. What I would love to see is more Paralympic coverage, not just a 2 hour programme on the Saturdays. Even better, would be the Paralympics to be played concurrently with the able bodied Olympics. Not against each other but at the same time not a week or two later. The more exposure the better.

No pileups.

Pickleball would make a lot more sense than breakdancing or, as Sailor mentioned, ribbon dancing.

“Cornhole” makes me strangely uncomfortable for some reason. . . .

I still think Tiddlywinks should be an Olympic sport. That and advanced nose-picking.
