I always liked how (in the books) Tarzan would be in a tree and drop a noose around the neck of the last person in line and jerk them up into the tree before anyone noticed. Terror on the Trail!
Tarzan in the books had a really grim sense of humor.
So much trouble Phantom and Batman went through to strike terror in the hearts of evil men. Wearing masks, capes, etc. All they needed was a jungle boy hairstyle and a legionnaires costume.
