In panel one, Tarzan’s pose and the vine reminds me of a very muscular Spider-Man. Have to admit, I’m really enjoying the artwork, and the story’s not too bad, either.
Could they possibly find more inept guards? Bad guy needs to capture them, and make a second attempt at better knots and stronger lock and chain. As Gent would say, if that fails, he needs to dig a pit.
What, pray, is Tarzan doing in panel four? Looks like he is doing some sort of ballet maneuver to thrust his package in the face of a startled gunman.
And in panel six, is he grimly glaring (nice expression – grimly glaring) at a mysteriously suspended knife while ignoring the gentleman with the machete behind him?
And why does machete-man have three fingers?
And why is Tarzan’s right paw contorted like that?
Love the artwork in the last panel of Tarzan having thrown the knife and him coming right behind it. (Hhmmm, ok maybe the other guy threw it at the bad scientist and Tarzan’s arm just moved up after it passed.)
Rather than holding on to the switch and making a speech about how late they are and how he’s going to pull the switch, he should pull the damn switch.
Maybe I’m too dumb, but all I’ve seen since this started is random, unconnected drawings. It’s like pitch dark, and somebodies using a strobe light to give us brief glances but not often enough. I’m sure this artist is very good and very expensive, but his panels are far too few for the action. And, the crotch shot is kinda disgusting, and I’m thinking this will be my last Sunday Tarzan.
I love the artwork. But why do the fighting and running scenes look like the characters are having massive muscle spasms instead of fighting and running?

This Sunday strip is quite confusing.
