Eat knife Lord Porker! A proper gutting Hari Kiri-style thanks to the Lord of The Jungle, and whoops, Pomeroy loses his glasses as well. Now stumble over the cliff and bounce a few times before the hungry flesh-eaters strip your miserable carcass! Tarzan deserves a peaceful vacation after this one, don’tcha think? Surely he’s not going to bury yet another body……then again…….

“Weakened by convalescence”. Why do the comic writers have to use complicated words that the average reader (like your truly) maybe does not understand?! Why not simply write “has not fully recovered yet”?

Well, there is one good thing about that annoying habit: the readers get to expand their vocabulary .

A close one, quite brutal for 1964…..

Well, at least Tarzan’s not PC or having a misplaced sense of righteousness or something.

Perhaps it wouldn’t have been so hard for Tarzan if only he put the bow and arrows down.

Looks like Pomeroy is a victim of circumstances. (nyuk nyuk nyuk)

Love these old comics where the bad guys actually got killed. The PC crap today makes such little sense. Best example was the TV show Star Girl’s finale, after beating the bad guys, that were trying to kill them, the heros left them unconscious or they died by their own hand.

Pain from the knife wound. Astonishment from finding a wallet in the grass that he’d lost 10 years ago in Tahiti.
