An America obsesses over Monica, let's take a peek at what could've, should've been (but wasn't) (The embattled president: When this thing broke back in January, I was planning to announce socialized medicine the very next day! Of course, I've been distracted since then.) The embittered first lady (If I hadn't been so darn distracted lately, I could've finished my new punk CD!) The Ambivalent senator (We should have gotten that highspeed nationwide railway system done this year- but I was having too much fun following Monica!) The obsessive congressman (We were finally going to place the entire income tax burden on the rich- but the distraction was too much.) The Mournful Executive (America's economy might have boomed twice as fast if Kenn Starr had never been born!) The bitter voter (Not only am I distracted- now I'm distracted from my distraction!)
