Maybe the tummy is pink because she just got spayed and escaped from the vet. My Casper (white) has a pink tummy.
I got a new batch of fosters yesterday. These are the ones that got ringworm months ago and have been with Susan. They got cleared by the vet 2 weeks ago, got fixed and had shots. They went to PetCo yesterday. A woman is coming to the house later today for one of them and probably a second one. Will post a pic in a bit.
serenaskitty: have you gone back and read as many as you can? If not, you may as well put the book down, the vacuum away, close the dishwasher door and forget about mowing the lawn. You day is gone. :)
Such lovely Kitties QofA.They also found that currently 39.7 percent of cats owned people ……. err Slaves!I’m considering this as my new logo, per (purrr) my cats requests.I’m tempted to make a few t-shirts of this one.
This is a zero cat household now. Our little girl, my avatar, passed away July 30. A blood clot took her from us far too soon. Only three years with us to enjoy the love she gave so freely after spending the first 5 years of her life with a couple of cruel, abusive, miserable “people”.She is everywhere I look, and yet, she is not. Ironically she died on the same day our previous boy passed four years before. I don’t know if I can handle this pain again.
Diana, give yourself as much time as you need. If it’s meant to be that another one comes into your life, they will. Keep an open mind and, more important, an open heart.
Diana: we all know how very hard this was for you and we are so sorry for losing your little girl. We have had cats that pass thru our lives for many years and when we lose one, we like to think it opens up a space in our home and hearts for another one. You might never be ready for another kitty but if you are, you’ll know when you run across one. Maybe you can think about fostering now and then – there is no commitment to keep a kitty.
And speaking of fostering, I just adopted out two of the current fosters. The two that went are in the first picture – the b/w boy in the little pink box and the black tuxedo looking boy in the middle. A very nice young family came over. They saw them at PetCo yesterday. They have 3 kids; I’m not a big fan of children but these 3 were very well behaved. The eldest son had gotten birthday money and this is what he wanted. They have an older cat that thinks she should be an only child so the caveat was that if anything did not work out, the kittens come back to me, no questions asked.
I always thought this was Oliver, but in the early drawings before they were refined. Mutts, Peanuts, Garfield – they were all very different in the beginning.

This is going to be good, I hope we get to see how they all came to be together. I love his pink tummy.

Which one is it? Other than Chesney and Lily, I have trouble telling them apart sometimes.

Looks like he’s on a desert island – or is that just how he feels. How cute!

I just had to add this to my favorites list so I could have an extra Ten Cats fix when I need one. Wonder if I’ll ever get anything else done?

Oliver is just a little Kitten and probably can’t spell or write. Let’s wait and see who this becomes.

Usually there’s a date on the strip itself. I don’t see one. Is this the first one ever? Could it be Lily? Or is it too grey to be her?
Susan named the kittens Jingles, Jazzy, Jiminy and Joey.

So sorry for your loss. It’s so hard to lose them, but remember all the love you gave and got back.

Thank you for your kindness. I keep telling myself at least she had the chance in her short life to learn that not everyone is a monster
