Tarder Sauce’s movie is this Saturday on Lifetime – Grumpy Cats Worst Christmas Ever. I understand its sort of like A Wonderful Life meets Dr. Doolittle. I have it on my DVR to record as I will be gone to my 2nd son’s for a family gathering for Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to both the family gathering and the movie. Its going to be nice to sit back and let the kids take over. Both boys are good cooks because I taught them and my daughter. We all love being in the kitchen, but I am taking myself and my grandkids out of it, and playing with the grands. To heck with a hot messy kitchen this year!
Hello Good Morning, Wet & Soggy and ORMouseworks and all the others! It is 8:09 in the morning here in Germany – an overcast cold day – 3°C or 37°F. Hope all is well!
Good Monday Morning everyone, tho morning isn’t for 45 minutes! I’m cooking Thanksgiving dinner all by myself. 12 people and you watch, no one will help! Good thing I like to cook. Altho as I get older it gets more tiring, don’t know why, I’m only 76.LOlTurkey, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, glazed carrots, cornbread dressing and 5 pies and not one thing from a box. Am I dumb? Don’t answer that!
@Dry and DustyHi Dry and Dusty… hope you’re just kidding, if you feel getting old there – what have I to say. I’m one month and four years older than you lol. My birthday was 10th of Nov. in 1949. But now I’m not kidding, in 2010 I got cancer. Chemo, radiotherapy and many surgeries (colon, liver and lungs) let me feel like to be over 80 years old at that time. Glad my last check was okay and slowly I return to normal life again.
You’re replying to ƹʅɗʘ “The whole Haul” Phil D. Albert’s comment:Meine Deutschkenntnisse ……Hi, Eldo, let me tell you my secret.. I like to use google and bing translator, too. In school I learnt Oxford English, but I had and still have a good teacher in US English, my penpal from Missouri, and of course some friends at Facebook. And now here I get help from my GoComics-friends! Thank you! Between you and me and the bedpost ;) sometimes I do not quite understand all jokes and the hidden meanings of some comic strips, but at dicct.cc and urbandictionary.com I often find help. Oh, another thing I noticed: You wrote you are proofreader – so was I at one of our local newspaper. I even proofread a book called “Alltag in Amerika” (Free translation: Everyday Life in the USA). No, so sorry, I don’t have seen The Beatles live in Hamburg. But I was fan from their first beginning! My first two short-playing records I got were “She loves you” with "I’ll get you! and “Twist and Shout” with “There’s a Place”.
Hi little Bluebell, in Germany we do have a game – it is called “Ich sehe was, was Du nicht siehst, das hat die Farbe Blau” (I see something what you don’t see and it has the color blue). Guess what I mean, little Bluebell? .. Yeah, it is you!
Funny pics like every day… and I do have a question: Is Thanksgiving in the USA this year not at 27th of November? I remember a wonderful Thanksgiving in 1999 in Lone Star, Texas (75668 TX) – so good memories!
Thank you, Maykitten, in Germany we celebrated 2014 “Erntedankfest” on 5th of October. Oh, by the way – there is a mistake when I was visiting Texas, sorry, it was the year 2000 and not 1999.
Thank you all for the kind words about sweet Wilson. I have lived in my little house along the eastern sierra now 4 years, and have a graveyard with 3 beloved friends already. Also some of my husband’s, and shepherd/collie Jesse’s ashes, to be mixed with mine in the far (I hope!) future.
Good morning, everyone, and thank you all for the wishes yesterday.Marge, I am a Sagittarius, so is Paul, and so is my great-granddaughter, Saphira Hope, who shares a birthday with Paul on December 6, along with my daughter, Christiane, who was born 40 years ago this December 13.My birthday lunch was excellent, at a Chinese restaurant we all like with a buffet, and the waiter hauled out this humongous straw hat and took a picture of Paul and me. My father-in-law took a couple also, and has promised to send me a copy so I can use it as my new avatar. So now I am 60.Marge, I am going to have to haul out my old German workbook, if I can find it, and practice on you.
Loved all the Grumpy Cat pictures. I am definitely watching the movie. Do they have a TV in the warehouse? I’m sure Chesney (aka Crab) would identify with the movie and all these pictures. Loved the cat dressed like a turkey. Cute!
Hope they show Grumpy Cat’s movie over here in the UK. Thursday is just an ordinary day here, but my husband and I are going to dinner at our favorite (Austrian) restaurant to have our own Thanksgiving celebration!
Glad you guys liked the Grumpyness of this mondays selections.@ 2Old You stole my grumpy thanksgivings! lol j/k They are great ones too!@Marge so glad to see you posting and even happier to hear you beat the big C aka Cancer!@JessieGoodDoggie I have had you in my thoughts and prayers. It just hurts so bad to lose them.I am going to be posting my Thanksgiving pics tomorrow morning as we will be leaving for Brainerd, MN as soon as we get around to it. 2nd sons home is basically in the middle, so my daughter and other son, and the families all agreed to go there this year, but they are coming here next year, or I am going to have to spank some 40 year old bottoms!

I’m not usually a grumpy cat fan, but the ones today were great.
A friend told me about the kittens in a box video – TY for posting it.
Still in San Diego. Sitting in a park on Coronado just relaxing.
Computer is about to die – have a great day, everyone.
