Oh Annie, I hope this will never happen to our Chesney. He may not always be sweet, but we love him anyway. Don’t forget, Annie, he is a tomcat and likes to be a bit of a bully. But inside he has a good heart.

I must be feeling better this morning, I found this both sad and amusing.One of Chester’s favorite things was getting a drink from the tub spigot, every morning he would hop in the tub and meow for a splash. Mama jumped in the tub and straight away she knocked the handle for the hot water loose. Something only Chester did…CLANG!! It went.The noise is always jarring, even more so given that it was barely past 6AM. This morning Mama and the others often join me in the bathroom. Mama looked so sad with no one wanting to play “under the door” with her. Mama and Baby usually had many rousing games of paw under the door.It’s back to work today, finally. At least I won’t be reminded .My poor dog is surrounded by cats on the other side! Sorry Baby Girl, Pray there’s another dog in my future so you’ll have a friend one day.She was a very catty Dog,Chester was a very doggy Cat.How weird was that?Baby Girl 1995-2008

Happy Manic Monday, everyone, from here in the Canadian deep freeze (at least where I am)

Loved the jail cat and “not haunted” pics this morning. Brad went back to work today after 2 weeks off.

Don’t remember if I posted on Fri, but Baby got adopted! I had adtually dialed the house number to see if we could just keep himr. I had my finger on SEND when the couple came up and asked me about Baby. She has a new brother, Frank the pug and his new name will be George.

Rory is going to her new barn home tomorrow. I wish she liked other cats – I would consider keeping her.

The kittens have some wonderful people on the waiting list. Some were probably impulse decisions and will have changed their minds but the list is long enough that I have no worries. They are getting fixed on Wed and can go to their new homes on Friday.
