Could’ve asked my buddy Miscreant. He’s pretty vocal about what he wants too. He could give Lily a run for her money except he is a love bug. Not cranky at all like some of the Ten Cats.

Happy x 3 — Now that the article has come out about what you are trying to do for the people in your area through the goodness of your heart it is time to hit the road with your article. I would only speak to the owner or managers or people in charge of public relations of the car dealerships. Don’t bother with sales people, they are only interested in selling a van not helping you get one for free. Don’t even talk to the sales people they will just try to discourage you. You may have to call ahead to make appointments but I would try dropping in first. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

‘Leave’ it to Lily!

Yeah, Lily’s magic power is holding on and on! Last time it was on September 07, 2013……

My brother has been sick for several weeks. When I checked on him this morning, I found him dead. Prayers are appreciated.

To all Ten Cats friends and lovers: Wish you all a wonderful September, keep well and fit, and the sick ones get well soon again!

Starman1948 my heart breaks for you. Please remember that all we really have of someone is memories. The start of this email is only a memory. When we lose someone we lose the prospect of adding any new memories to what we have. That makes the ones we have that much more precious. No one can take them away from us. We just won’t be adding any new ones. Treasure the memories you have and know that they are yours and always will be.

Brad and I have to drive to Grand Junction CO early tomorrow morning. The transport truck broke down and can’t be fixed until next week. Another driver has left TX to pick up the dogs they are carrying to take them to Costa Mesa CA but won’t be there until Monday. That is totally unacceptable to me. It’s exactly a 6 hour drive from here – we’ve made it several times, as has Susan. We know down to the minute how long it takes.

We have a large cage and a medium sized cage in the back seat of the truck. 3 will go in the big one and 2 in the other. I’ve lined them with a few towels, put cat beds in each and cat mats on those along with some toys. I have water dishes that attach to the sides of the cages. I have a bag of extra everything. I have a jug of litter. We always have a case of water. (even around town)

I have disposable litter pans and bags so all I have to do is toss the bags – no scooping.

WHO IN THE WORLD STARTS ON A CROSS COUNTRY TRIP HAULING DOGS AND KITTENS WITHOUT HAVING A VEHICLE IN TIP TOP SHAPE??

When the transport woman told me on Wed they were avoiding crossing the mountains and driving thru Vegas, I had this little thing in the back of my head going “I can see problems; why is she taking a much longer route?” Now I know why.

I left a message for the company owner early this morning but no call back. I just sent a scathing email. Once this is over, I will expect a significant refund.

I’m so angry I could strangle someone.

RONNIE I am behind in my queue again, just saw your very sad news. I am so very sorry for your loss and you finding your brother must have been just heartbreaking! May you find peace “down the road” and know that your brother is free of pain and is indeed in a better place! May God look over you and yours, as I am sure HE will!

Miss Lily speaks and it is done! Go to a woman, regardless of the nature, animal or human to get the job done! Yes sir! Just ask us! :-)

Oh, no! Ronnie, what a nightmare. I wish you the strength to get through this very difficult time.

Thanks for the update and funny story of the kitty topping herself over. I would have felt the same as Pam did, but still…

Just doing things like walking to the kitchen can be exhausting and I think she’s doing great. I’m so glad that you are able to go spend time with her and help her out.

As we leave Grand Junction tomorrow, I’ll wave to you both in the rear view mirror.
