For those that might have missed my announcement last night, I won an auction and am now the happy owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander BraunAbility conversion minivan.Its a retired Rouge Valley Transportation District special needs transit vehicle. I still have to wire them the money and go get it so it won’t be until some time next week before i can show you any photos.

@HappyI read your note on Facebook and your post before changeover. I am so happy you finally have your van. I know you will be able to make a difference in more people’s lives now.

Chesney is such a brat! Happy – again, congratulations – you worked hard for this. I know you clients will really appreciate it. Really cute pictures today. Really like the cat taking money out of the purse, the cat ‘watch’, and the ‘heard snacks’ cat. The monster under the bed is scary cute! Thanks all for the smiles and laughs.

Everyday at 5:30pm all 5 cats herd me to their cat treat jars for night time snacks. The dog helps too since he gets his peanut butter and Prozac at the same time. If I have been out or am late it gets loud at my house. Yes I am the servant to the furry creatures in their home.

Holy smoke…I am SO happy you got your van. Didn’t even read today’s comments yet. I’ve been ‘catching up’ yesterday and today since the family left Thursday night. Will check fb after TC as I’m sure you posted there too!

Here is the reason I haven’t posted regularly this week….they left Thursday night. Got my fridge space back and plan on having a really good night’s sleep and sleeping later than 4:45am!!! LOL

Can’t wait to see it.Tangentially, from your description of how you will use it, you may want to check with someone who knows taxes – since you use it as a part of your job, it may qualify as an unreimbursed business expense. 8^)Perhaps someone here at TC could help out???
