laughing kitty: I never heard the word elevated used in computerspeak. But coincidentally in today’s Seattle Times. Patrick Marshall has a Q&A on this topic:

You can launch with the computer’s elevated administrator account. Right click on Start button, select Command Prompt, then type

net user administrator/active:yes.

Click Start and this will allow you to see the Administrator Account, and all your files should be there.

I can’t vouch for this personally, and you may want to search for the original article on seattletimes.com.

So, I have been nursing this cold for over 2 weeks. I guess I have been taking very good care of it, because it is quite happy in my head and chest, and shows no sign of leaving any time soon.

We raised $ 2800 for the cats yesterday at the big rummage sale. We still have some very expensive turquoise jewelry to sell but it was too valuable to put out. This is handmade stuff that’s apparently VERY old. Susan took it to be appraised and one piece, according to the expert, should be in an Indian museum. She brought it all to me for an opinion and my opinion was that she get someone who was a lot smarter than I am about that stuff.
