Funny! I love Annie’s face in panel 3. And the chimps in the last panel are so like the cats! (or some of them). Good rendering of Jane G in the last panel! (except she might not appreciate the nose).
I want to thank everyone for their kind messages of condolence at the passing of my sweet baby Ike. The messages really did help me sort through my feelings. It helps knowing that you all care and understand. And some of your messages helped confirm what I sort of wondered about – was it something incurable like cancer or kidney failure? I have lost cats to both of these things and the symptoms were the same as Ike had – the sudden and rapid weight loss being the big thing. No coughing, sneezing, vomiting or diarrhea to lead me to suspect he was so sick. Isn’t it weird though, how the passing of just one kitty even when you still have 20 more cats left can make the house feel so empty? I wish we could post pictures here so you could all see my Ike.
I met Jane Goodall a few decades back. She was visiting an elementary school in Malibu and I “snuck in” as if I was one of the parents for the assembly and she stood next to me after her talk. A very special day!
Per bbear early today: So far, I am not comfortable. I can barely move my legs. Discouraging. Sunday at 4:30am my dressing was changed and it looked good. Also Discouraging: i am still unable to stand up. I am starting to be able to move the legs on my own. per bbear just now: Sunday was a very good day I was up on my feet twice although I couldn’t get up on my own I had to be lifted up and I did some walking the pain is come down.
This link will lead you to see IKE, Becky Winch’s kitty. He is a beauty. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=154168485093666&set=pcb.154168905093624&type=3&theater. Queen, I will send you the picture as you can’t access fb.
LAUGHINGKITTY, just saw this! SO VERY SORRY for your loss and pain! I have been there with my dogs and cats over the years, and it NEVER gets easier! Each of our furry friends are SO SPECIAL and have their own personalities, just like us humans. Each loss is different, but THEY ALL HURT THE SAME!
Many of us do not “do” facebook. I, for one, will not “join” to see the pictures I would love to see. Wish there was another option,, but that has been taken away.

Happy Bunday, Graham Crackers!
Laughingkitty, I agree with what Happyx3 said, do something nice for yourself that you wouldn’t normally do.
