I have the dubious task of reporting that the “Ragdoll” kitten we rescued has died. I went to check on him yesterday morning and found him curled up on his heater and not breathing. My wife had some issues with him before she retired, in that he had this problem with breathing. He would just gasp. Apparently it was too much and he has gone. We had taken him to an emergency Vet facility two days ago and they said he did not have pneumonia but severe congestion. Meds were prescribed and given as were subQ fluids. I guess sometimes no matter how hard you try it is just not enough. Thanks to all for your support and we will get past this and continue to do what we do. It is so hard to lose one..so very hard.
