We were going to go to have some lunch in Depoe Bay and do some whale watching today. But, she heard that the shelter has a couple of black cat kittens ready to adopt, and she has been considering a roommate for her wild-child cat.
I went into Marietta Memorial Hospital last Friday and got excellent treatment. All my ailments were treated and are gone. Strangely, the arthritis, bursitis, and gout flareups that happened while there are all diminished, now that I’m at home. Wonder what they put in the food there? My blood pressure is down here at home and my blood sugar dropped from routinely being over 200 while in the hospital to a scary low 72 this morning. Best of all, I went from getting 4 hours of sleep on the hospital bed to getting 8 hours on my first night back.
I was supposed to go to a “stepdown unit” for a week of physical therapy but I was now too strong so Humans, my insurance, denied it and I was discharged from the hospital last evening.
