By the way, everyone, whatever you do, DO NOT catch that nasty stomach bug (whatever it is) that I have had these past few days! I’m feeling better now (no more fever), but my stomach still feels achy – just not as “barfy” as if I was going to vomit at any minute as what it had felt ever since Thursday evening. I couldn’t even choke down a single slice of toast for breakfast on Friday. I didn’t even try for toast on Saturday morning. I just drank some orange juice and that was all I could stomach. My fever never got above 100.9° the times I checked it, but it might have gotten a little higher while I was at work on Friday. I left work 3 hours early on Friday because I was so afraid I was going to barf. And as it turned out, I barely made it home when I did just that. Good thing I didn’t stay any later at work! But since there was no food in my stomach, I didn’t bring much up. But still, it’s gross and disgusting seeing people barf, so I’m glad I only had a couple cats around to witness my actions. I called in and didn’t go to work on Saturday. I still worked on Sunday – an early shift so I got home by 6:00 pm. It was still light out and it was such nice weather, I sat in my lawn swing to read a while. I had to stop reading and rest my eyes after about 15 minutes of reading. Then about 15 minutes after that, it was somehow 7:00. I guess I fell asleep. But I was suddenly starting to feel well enough to eat a bowl of ice cream. And my fever was gone and has not been back. So I’m recovering at last. But I say again. DO NOT CATCH THIS BUG!!!!
