That’s what I want to do with the Emergency Broadcast System when they do those “This is only a test. If this had been an actual emergency”…etc, etc along with the wailing siren. So annoying! Than goodness for the “mute” button!

    Today is:

National Public Sleeping Day. I don’t like people watching me sleep, so I will not take part in any public sleeping.

National Skip the Straw Day. I rarely use straws. I bought a box of 100 straws about 7 or 8 years ago and I’m only about half way through them. I don’t eat out, so no straws there either. Even on my once-a-month lunch at the food court in the mall with my friends, I bring my own food & beverage, so I don’t use straws there either.

National Tartar sauce Day. I never use that stuff

National Tooth Fairy Day. Been a long tome since the tooth fairy visited me!

National Chocolate Souffle Day. I’ve never tasted chocolate souffle, but someday I’d like to try it.

National Floral Design Day. I have an early start on that. I planted impatiens seeds about a week ago (I have them under a plant light in my kitchen) and some of them are coming up. I have plans for a lovely floral planting outdoors when warm weather arrives to stay.

To WDemBlk from yesterday’s comments – Nope, no insects in my suet (but I bet some birds would love it if I added mealworms, which I could purchase at Walmart). It’s Crisco shortening (lard works too), corn meal, oatmeal and chunky peanut butter. Then I added raisins and bird seed. I threw in a few chopped walnuts too. They were a little stale because the bag had been opened for a pretty long time. It took the birds a few days to discover that suet cake, but it’s been going fast now. Probably with help from the squirrels. I feed the squirrels too

I love doing jigsaw puzzles, but this is what happens whenever I try to do them. I have to cover my puzzle with boards or something any time I’m not working on it or I’d have puzzle pieces all over the house.

Facebook has a process where the person who receives the message in Messenger from the imposter can report him. I had my friend who discovered that he knew about my bronchitis (Mentioned in public only here) report him to Facebook. I got an email from Facebook saying that they were aware of the imposter and were investigating.

I wonder if Jack and Chesney are familiar with “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” I’ve heard a joke that the real moral of that story is “never tell the same lie twice.” On another note, saw a red tailed hawk on the way to work today.
